The Flinders Ranges are Australia’s most remarkable mountains. Amongst the oldest rock formations on the sub-continent they rise spectacularly out of the flat semi-arid desert of outback South Australia and range starkly against the horizon, a testimony to the grandeur of Nature. This is best typified at Wilpena Pound, a huge natural amphitheatre, filled with trees & wildlife and fringed by splintery, jagged peaks - a photographer’s paradise. Our journey takes us on a leisurely tour through this ancient landscape which will fill you with awe and leave you with lifelong memories.
